We know for a fact that Donald Trump is a hardcore Law of Attraction fan.
He loves Norman Vincent Peale's LOA classic, The Power of Positive Thinking. Peale, who died in 1993 and was a Christian minister, even officiated Trump's first wedding to Ivana.
Trump wrote several books together with another well-known LOA disciple, Robert Kiyosaki of Rich Dad, Poor Dad fame.
If you know anything about the Law of Attraction, you realize why it is that Trump surrounds himself with gold wherever he goes.
He doesn't talk much about the why, but his friend Kiyosaki is much more outspoken about it. In a June 2017 interview with Kitco News, he said that he uses gold to boost his net worth:
“If I want $10,000 a month, I hold $10,000 in gold; gold is an attractor and people need to understand that if you buy more gold, your income goes up.”
He also said that besides being real money, he views gold as something spiritual.
I'd bet you anything that for the same reason, Trump Tower looks like Aladdin's cave of riches.
That's also why Trump would call the Democrats winning the House in the midterm election a "big success."
The Law of Attraction teaches to always speak positively and pretend what you want to happen is already here.
That's what Trump is doing. By reframing every setback as a success and every challenge as a slam dunk win, he not only makes his followers feel good—he is actually, physically changing things through manifestation.
Whatever you think of Trump, he is a master of the Law of Attraction... and we can all learn a lot from him.
Here's how you can prove to yourself that manifestation is real, i.e., that you can really influence matter with the power of your mind.
I suggest for starters the Cloud Evaporation Technique. Supposedly, Native Americans used to teach this to their kids when they were young. I taught it to my own son. It’s not hard to do.
You’ll see that ONLY the cloud you focus on will shrink and disappear. All the other clouds should still be there.
It’s a pretty nifty technique and still fills me with awe and wonder when I practice it.
You can also practice what I call the “Goodwill Manifestation.” It’s a technique that can have stunning results… and unlike other manifestation techniques, it works almost instantaneous.
What you do is basically send blessings to yourself and others. That may sound kind of drab, but it’s anything but.
It’s actually the most incredible LOA technique I know of. It works purely on love and kindness, and it asks for nothing.
That’s why it’s also great for religious people who fear that using the Law of Attraction might be something like witchcraft or magic.
How does it work if it asks for nothing?
Well, here’s where the miracle starts. You visualize yourself and other people involved in the situation and you wish them well. That’s really all there is to it. But the effects will absolutely blow your mind.

I’ve had tons of “synchronicities” happen to me in my life. I consider them direct and personal signs from Spirit.
The more you look for them and pay attention, the more of those signs you will get. Try it for yourself. It's enormously soothing to feel that someone is looking out for you at all times.
This is one of my favorite (true) stories.
In 1999, I had just moved to Sedona, AZ, the movie American Beauty with Kevin Spacey came out, and I saw it in the theater there.
I really liked it, and my favorite scene was when Ricky Fitts, the soulful teenage boy and avid videographer, shows neighbor girl Jane a video he made of a grocery plastic bag bouncing up and down and swaying in the wind for minutes on end.
As they’re watching the strangely beautiful dance, Ricky says:
“It was one of those days when it’s a minute away from snowing. And there’s this electricity in the air, you can almost hear it, right? And this bag was just… dancing with me. Like a little kid begging me to play with it. For fifteen minutes. That’s the day I realized that there was this entire life behind things, and this incredibly benevolent force that wanted me to know there was no reason to be afraid. Ever.”
Here’s the video.
Fast forward about a year and a half. I was working as a professional Tarot reader in Sedona and life was tough but exciting. I was dirt poor and often had trouble making the rent at the center and at home, which was quite anxiety inducing, to say the least.
It had helped me master the art of “going with the flow,” though. Part of it was that I had learned to follow random, seemingly silly hunches and just do whatever I felt prompted to do. And if I did, there’d always be a reason, like I would run into someone I needed to meet, for example.
One slow business day at the New Age center, around 10 AM, my fellow readers and I were pretty much just hanging out.
I was considering going to the hair dresser, but suddenly this thought popped into my head that I should drive down to the Oak Creek Brewery, one of the favorite local hangouts.
However, at this time of day the brewery was closed, so I wondered what the heck this was all about, but I went anyway.
My intuition told me to park in the parking lot and get out of the car. I did, and nothing happened.
I’m like, “Okay, now what?”
All of a sudden, there was a warm gust of wind, and a discarded brown plastic grocery bag lifted up off the ground and started dancing.
It bounced up and down, swayed from side to side, sometimes dropping to the ground and then rising up again.
Just like a little kid inviting me to play.
It was stunningly beautiful and went on for about ten minutes. I cried as I watched the plain brown bag dance in the wind, remembering the lines from the movie.
It was like Spirit was telling me that life was beautiful and there was nothing to be afraid of. Ever.
